5th Year Geography| On Monday 2nd March 26 fifth year students travelled to Kippure Estate Co. Wicklow to complete their Geography Investigation Field Study. The study was on the geomorphic processes of erosion on the river Liffey at its upper and lower course. All students did practical work on site. This involved measuring River Velocity, River Discharge, River Gradient and Valley Profiles. This field study is compulsory and 20% of their Leaving Certificate marks are awarded for the work. |
