Sports Week 2009On Tuesday 12th May 2009 St. Farnans held their annual Sports Day. Lots of fun was had by all the students and staff. Well done to Ms. Bradshaw for all her great organising!
On the followinf Thursday the school held their annual school walk. Although the day was a little damp the students went ahead and completed the walk in record time. The sixth years this year took part in a 7 hour cycle/run in the gym suite. A total of 694.45 km was travelled on the machines. A special mention to Christopher Farrel who completed 58.7km in 1hour on the bike and Owen Lenehan who ran 11.61km in 1 hour on the treadmill. |
