Senior Hurling BlitzSt. Farnans senior hurling team played in a one day blitz on Wednesday 7th October. Each match was 30 mins. The team played 4 matches in quick succession.
St. Farnans started with a win over Piper Hill College with Dean O'Regan, Gavin Craig and Ian Dunne performing well.
Next they played St. Fintans of Longwood, unfortunately they lost this game. Longwood were the eventually competition winners. Although they lost by 4 points there were great performances by Ross Carew, shane Kenna and Adam Lee.
The next game was against Dunshaughlin this was a very tight game with Dylan Hannon, Stephen Ennis and Kevin Mitchell hurling well. In their final match they lost out by the smallest of margins to St. Pats Academy Navan, for St. Farnans, Ryan Casey playing well in goals, Kenneth Ennis and Stephen Ennis starring out field.
