Attention All 5th Year StudentsAre you interested in being a Mentor to a 1st Year Class next year?
The role of mentor is to assist 1st Year students make a smooth and stress free transition to Secondary School.
This includes
Helping them find their way around the school.
Assisting them get to know each other.
Helping them become familiar with the school day format and activities.
Being a good role model for your 1st year class.
A good mentor will be enthusiastic, confident, reliable, mature, approachable and a good communicator.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor complete application form along with a cover letter and return to Ms Cox before Tuesday 11th May.
Training will be provided to help mentors develop leadership skills.
