Information Technology & Office Administration CourseThis is a one year course in eBusiness, Information Technology and Office Administration leading to a FETAC Award Level 5 in eBusiness.
Aims
The course aims to provide students with specialised knowledge of computers and modern office technology.
It will enable the learner to apply the principles and practice of eBusiness to the current working environment.
Entry Requirements
Leaving Certificate or Leaving Certificate Applied Examination. This
requirement is not essential for mature students.

Students complete a block of Work Experience in a company during the second term. This gives them the opportunity to practice skills and knowledge acquired on the course and may lead to employment.
Career Preparation
Career preparation is a very important element of the course. Interview technique, layout of CV and mock interviews are arranged.
Assessment/Exams
Many of the subjects consist of project work which is completed on an on-going basis throughout the year.

FETAC Level 5 Award in
eBusiness
Progression to Third Level
Colleges.
All student can progress to Further Education on completion of this course through the Higher Education Links Scheme.
Grant
Candidates applying for this course may apply for a Grant or Back to Education Allowance.
