Avon Ri Adventure Centre in BlessingtonOn the 19th May JCSP students in Kinsale and Barrow visited Avon Ri Adventure Centre in Blessington as part of the School Completion Programme. In the morning students had the opportunity to take part in archery, rock climbing and the low ropes obstacle course. The low ropes were great fun as the course had to be completed in pairs with one person blindfolded so a lot of trust was involved! In the afternoon we went down to the lake for kayaking/canoeing. This was the highlight of the day and the students enjoyed the water sports and all the games on the beach. Everyone agreed that it was a great day. Thanks to Jo Jackson who also accompanied the students on the trip.
