European Tour Information

We are fast approaching the final payment for the school tour and we are then on the countdown to the tour itself. The final payment of €250 will take place on February 7th at 8am in room 4. All those travelling must pay in full on this date as all monies must be settled that week with the Tour Company.

There are a number of items which must be addressed at this stage:

Passports:
All students should now have applied for a Passport. Please note that existing Passports must be valid until June 2019. All students that have not already done so must present a copy of their passport with the final payment on February 7th.

European Health Insurance Card:
All students travelling on the tour must have a valid and in date European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). A copy of this card must be presented with the final tour payment on February 7th.  EHIC can be applied for online at www.ehic.ie or through your local HSE Health Centre.

Parent/ Guardian Information Meeting:
There will be a meeting held in the school on Thursday 4th of April at 7pm for students travelling on the tour and their Parent/ Guardian. Attendance at the meeting is compulsory for all those travelling and at least one Parent/ Guardian must be present for each child. All key details of the tour will be given on the night including what to bring, itinerary details, luggage restrictions, etc.

Behaviour and Attendance:
A reminder to all students and Parents/ Guardians that travel on the school tour is subject to adherence with the school behavior and tour policy. Attendance at school each day is a requirement for travel. Furthermore, students must be in full uniform each day and comply with all school rules.
