Welcome

Welcome to the Darwin Homepage.

Our ASD class opened in September 2010 and moved into the current specific build in room 25 in 2011. The aim of class Darwin is to cater for students with a diagnosis of Autism.

The maximum number of students in each class is six. We currently have two classes catering for twelve students.

The main aim of this programme is to develop and support the pupil’s independence while accessing mainstream curriculum.

The programme offers each student individualised tailored support in developing functional life skills, social skills, along with academic support to enable the students to participate fully in school and community life.
