3rd & 6th year students: State Examination Entry Fees Portal will open today at 2pm 19th March 2026
Further to Circular S27/26 Entry Fees for the 2026 Certificate Examinations I would like to advise that the Examination Entry Fees Portal will open today at 2pm.
The portal can be found at https://fees.examinations.ie/
Today, each 3rd year and 6th year student has been issued with a letter outlining their NAME, EXAM NUMBER and PASSWORD for the Fee portal (see document attached).
Junior Cycle State Exam fee is €109 and Leaving Cert/LCA2 fee is €116.
To make an application for medical card exemption from the exam fee, you should contact Fees Section by email at fees@examinations.ie
Students who are absent today may collect these important forms from the front office over the coming days.
The State Examinations Commission has also stated on this letter that 'failure to pay the examination feesn may have serious consequences for candidates up to and including the withholding of the final Examination Certificate.
This State Examinations fee has nothing to do with St Farnan's or any previous contribution from parents/guardians to school.
