5th year Trip

7th Oct 2021

We are hoping to restart our school's tour programme following a brief interlude due to COVID-19. Due to ongoing public health restrictions, we will not be organising a trip that involves international travel. It is our hope to bring the 5th year group to Belfast and Derry from April 28th-30th 2022. The highlights of the tour will include visits to the Titantic museum, the Free Derry museum, the Giants Causeway, the Crumlin Road Gaol, to name but a few.

The trip for two nights includes hotel stay in the Stormont Hotel, bed and breakfast and evening meals, entrance to all attractions, all necessary transport and insurance, including special cover for COVID cancellation.

The cost of the trip will be approximately €375-€425. The final price will depend on the number of students travelling. Places will be limited and payments will be handled directly by the school tour company. Students who secure a place will be given a secure payment link and dates by which the payments must be received.

The first non-refundable payment (other than COVID-related cancellation) will be €100 and that will be due at the end of October/start of November.

At this point we are taking expressions of interest for the tour and it will be organised on a first come first served basis.

Students interested in going on the tour are asked to complete the slip given to them in school and to return it to Mr. Little or Mr. Kenna by Monday, October 11th. Please contact Mr. Little or Mr. Kenna if there any questions or queries.
