The Board of Management of St Farnan's PPS have agreed to increase enrolment of incoming 1st year students starting in August 2026 to a maximum number of 142 students from 120. Currently, this is inclusive of 2 spaces in our ASD class for incoming 1st year students and 140 mainstream 1st year students.

For each of the previous three years, enrolment by the Board was set at 120 students inclusive of Special Class placements and each year had to be increased with the support of KWETB & the Department of Education & Youth, providing extra accommodation.

The School Principal and our Patron, KWETB, are again seeking additional temporary accommodation from August 2026 on top of the additional temporary accommodation yet to be built on-site for 2025, to house the vastly increased number of potential applicants/students applying from 6th class in our 7 prioritised Primary Schools.

On-line 1st year application forms will be available from Wednesday 1st October for MAINSTREAM school,

Paper-based 1st year application forms for our Special Classes will be also be available from Wednesday 1st October.

DEADLINE for both Mainstream and Special Class applications is Wednesday 22nd October at 12 noon.

Unfortunately there will not be any placements available in our Moderate Learning Unit class for 2026 as the class is at capacity.
