Business in the Community with SAP

5th Sep 2025

Congratulations to our amazing group of 2nd year students (2024-25) who undertook the World of Work programme with Business in the Community organiser, Jo Sayer, through the generosity of SAP in hosting the students and providing them with valuable insights into the workplace while also engaging them in impactful sustainability learning.

Please see attached the 2024-2025 Impact report for World of Work with photos, insights and data from our own students in this glossy publication.

The students' engagement and leadership were truly appreciated and made a meaningful impact on the success of the programme which has been running for 25 years. Our cohort of students were part of the nationwide initiative which has seen over 6,800 students participating this Business in the Community programme this year alone.

In St. Farnan's this programme is led by Tanya Flanagan, our TY Coordinator, who has been working with Jo Sayers and Tosan from SAP for many years. Thank you Tanya for your professionalism, enthusiasm, and generous support.

St. Farnan’s students always set a very high standard for this programme and we look forward to some of the current 2nd year students getting the chance to participate in this programme this year also.
