Please return 'offer of a school place' acceptance slips as soon as possible and by 12pm Friday 1st December at the latest. Any applicant who has been offered a place and is not going to take this placement up must also return this slip as soon as possible to allow students on the waiting list to be offered a place.
Students who have been offered a place in St. Farnan's AND in another school, such as Scoil Mhuire, must make a decision about which school they are choosing. You CANNOT accept more than ONE school place so if you have been offered a placement in TWO schools, you MUST accept only one and decline one other - this is the law.
Parents/Guardians of students refused a placement because of over-subscription (waiting lists) can firstly seek a Review by our Board of Management (please complete BOPMR1 form) before appealing to the Department of Education Section 29 Appeals committee. The document is attached in the NEWS section and Enrolment section of our website and is also available from the front office, by post or by emailing the school. Please be aware of the deadline to get these forms back in as soon as possible and by Wednesday 6th December 2023 by the latest..
