Parents' Course - Building Self-Esteem & Life Skills

A new 4-week programme entitled " Building Self-Esteem and Life Skills in Teens" is being offered to parents and guardians in St. Farnan's beginning March 5th.

The programme will run for 4 Tuesdays, March 5th, March 19th, March 26th and April 2nd from 9.30-11.30am.

The course will look at ways parents/guardians can build their children teens' resilience through:

  • Communication
  • Confidence and self-esteem
  • Decision making and Assertiveness skills
  • Ability to stand up for themselves and handle peer pressure

The importance of self-care for parents, listening skills and understanding the teenage brain will also be covered.
