State Exam fees return for JC/LC/LCA candidates 2026!
Dear 3rd year, 6th year and LCA2 students and Parents/Guardians,
Unfortunately, the State Examinations Commission has re-introduced a fee for Junior Cycle exams and Leaving Certificate/LCA exams for 2026.
From next Monday 16th March, you and your parents/guardians can click on the link below and enter your exam number and CSSP password (you should all have this information on your exam number sticker and your password for the CSSP that you were told to keep safe) and a payment link will be available.
Students - MEDICAL CARD HOLDERS must also complete this link and presumably enter this medical card details in this section.
Cost: €116 Leaving Cert/LCA, €109 Junior Cycle
These rates are the same as those charged in 2019, as the temporary suspension of fees due to cost-of-living supports is no longer in place.
This portal will be open from 2pm on Thursday 19 March 2026 and will close at 5pm Thursday 30 April 2026.
